Question Aftermarket Ignition: 1st Generation

I have a 1980 Mazda RX-7. I need new coils so I went on a search. Stock coils run around $240 each knew...ouch. ($6 bucks for my taurus). I was looking around and found a few performance coils for the RX-7. I also was checking out MSD Blaster Coils And MSD Ignition control boxes and wondered if they would work with my rotary engine. Any Idea's? I was mainyl looking at the MSD DIS-2.

You need to post this in the 1st gen forum ... not the 3rd gen. If knew though, I'd tell you.
