aftermarket fuel pressure regulator

anyone use one of those?

i might have to change mine so i thought i might be better upgrading while i am there.

what should i get?

The SX unit seems to be very popular. Unless you need one that lets you not only adjust the fuel pressure but how much pressure increase you get as the boost rises. I think the SX only raises the fuel pressure at a 1:1 ratio ( 1 psi boost : 1 psi fuel pressure).

I am also using the SX fuel pressure regualtor. I would think that this is one of the most popular unit that most people are using.

I would use a rising rate fuel pressure regulator if you plan on keeping a stock type ecu.

If you have (or plan to get) something that allows you to control injector duty cycle (wolf, PFC, Haltec) then get an adjustable regulator that doen't offer rising rate. You can increase the injector duty cycle to get more fuel instead of increasing the ratio of fuel pressure to boost.

any advantage of using this over the stock one for the basic upgrades? DP, MP, CB' intake, IC, ecu
It is much more expensive
