After Stock Airbox Mod, Jerking?

I just did the stock airbox mod, you know, unattach the BOV hose and capping the airbox hole. Well, the car feels jerky while accelerating now. As if the car is unsure how much fuel to distribute. Sometimes, as you're accelerating, the car just suddenly stops accelerating and continues at a constant speed even though you're still applying pressure on the gas pedal.

Anybody else has had this problem?

why did you uncap the stock BOV anyway? Are you just looking for some noise, because it doesn't to anything for performance.

Ya. I thought I'd see how the things sounds. It sounds like a bus stopping at the bus stop actually. The whoosh when he brakes or open the doors. And no I don't have a boost gauge.

Is that all you did? You didn't touch anything else?

Are you talking about the 3k rpm hesitation that the RX7 has?

Sometimes when the car's cold, the car kinda stumbles a bit, kinda like hiccups. It's a typical problem that a lot of RX7's have. I've heard that the Power FC and better grounding straps could help get rid of it.

Never heard of that mod. What is it supposed to accomplish? Just more noise?

That's it.

I did it with no changes to idle, boosting, or any other behaviour.
