After market headlights & After market 99 spec' spoiler side inserts
I was wondering if anyone can recommend decent after market headlights that aren't SakeBomb (love these but just don't have enough money for $1,000 headlights). I am running the stock headlight assembly so something that is a flip up. Also was wondering for the 99 spec' spoiler which side insert are there other than Odula? For reference please look at the picture provided.
The only option for pop ups would be to retrofit your own projectors. I'm sure you can do this under 1K
Or throw a HID kit in the stockers for $60
The car is low enough where you won't blind everyone. And the light output will be insane. Please use a 5000 kit or 6000highest if you wish to have some blue tint, above that looks ricerish

That too but he would have to really tweak with the lighting to not blind people as you said.
I had previously done a HID retrofit in my last FD and it looked pretty good.
Looking back at it, while the lights were an improvement, it's on the low end of the bucket list as an FD owner
I don't know, a HID kit and short throw shifter are my first and favorite mods on any car. They are also a safety feature because you can see 10X better and everyone else can clearly see you.
Actually decided just to suck it up and buy the SBG HID's. Only heard amazing reviews on it and might as well spend money on something reputable. Btw does anyone know how long Sakebomb takes to make and ship them out? They haven't responded to my emails for a couple of days.
Do you mean for a HID kit? It was suggested to me to stay with the regular wattage kit as you could fry stock wiring otherwise for a negligible effect. They want you to change out stock wiring harness to go higher wattage. Not worth the headache unless you're building a predomenantly night time vehicle or something
