I fail to see why the untested AEM product is getting so much interest when there are existing PROVEN products on the market at the same price point. The Techedge, for example, uses a much more useful -- and tasteful -- display than the Vegas at night look of the AEM.....and is certainly accurate to below 11:1.....
Spooling93r1: Single guys are NOT tuned to 10.5:1, I gaurantee it. For streetable levels of boost, 11:1 to 11.5:1 is far more typical and is still very safe.

The AEM has a 2" gauge... I think that's pretty much it, rynberg! If your going to drag taste into this, I think the Techedge display "box" would look out of place in my cockpit and has a definite home-made quality to it.
As for the low AFR accuracy: I've yet to come across a *real* spec sheet for a wideband sensor. Perhaps they aren't accurate below 11? Afterall they're "wideband" not "infiniteband". And I believe the Techedge and AEM use different sensors.

Just kidding.....
I think the main reason it's so attractive is the fact that it's a standard size 2 1/16" guage. It'll fit alot of places a rectangle won't......mainly a guage pod.
I'm putting mine in a carbon fiber pod like RE Amemiya makes. The one that goes right behind the steering wheel.
Just so you know......AEM is really on top of their game. I've got their new ignition, wideband guage, and EMS. We've been testing the ignition and guage on a 1000+hp Supra with perfect results for quite sometime. Granted the car is tuned by the guy who wrote the software.....but that doesn't really matter.
