AEM Wideband in Petitt Pod

I just recieved my Petitt steering column pod and was planning to install a AEM wideband in it but after some test fitting it doesn't looks like it will fit. Has anyone done this or have any advice. I want to make it work but was looking for some feedback before I start grinding or take another course of action. Thanks

I had to do a little trimming with the dremel and payed close attention to the contact points with the pod. I over dremeled a couple of areas by just a little and caused it to sit slightly loose. So a couple of small dabs of super glue held in it place and it's held just fine. A say small dabs cause when it comes time to remove the gauge for what ever reason it won't take much force to break the seal and pull it out.

If you don't want to glue, you can wrap a piece of electrical tape around the gauge to snug it up, or put piece around the gauge where you cut too much in the pod. Works like a champ, and if you go to sell the gauge, a quick wipe with some Goo Gone and everything's like new.

Not sure about sizes. . .I did this with the Innovate x-16 (I think that is the model) gauge. a little trimming and it works great/looks great. The annoying thing is that you lose the good steering column fit with the Petit pod because it doesn't have the stock tabs to lock to the bottome half. A tiny amount of superglue on the tabs takes care of this and can be undone without any harm.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm going to try the dremel trim thing to try to make it fit. I heard that black RTV is good for sealing the pod to the bottom half of the steering column.
