AEM Fail Safe with Datalogit

Hey guys I tried the search function but wasn't really finding the info I need. So I've got a PowerFC and a datalogit running my car right now with a tune from Rotary power USA. At times I seem to get a split second lean situation during acceleration and some idle issues. Other than that the car usually runs pretty good. I also have a AEM Failsafe wide band O2 on the car but it's not hooked up to the datalogit. I was wondering if I hooked it up if I'd have to re-tune the car or will the FC just get the new signal and use it to better keep the fuel curves? Also is there anything special I need to do to tell the FC it's receiving new info? And do I just hook up the signal wire from the AEM to the datalogit at any of those open ports?

as far as i know, the FC datalogit doesnt use the information that the wideband provides it. it only displays and logs it.

It's just weird, most of the time the car runs fine, but ever so often when I start up the car it idles kind of rough and lean. Thought finding a way to get the O2 info to the ecu might help.
