Adding oil to gas

I was told by the Mazda used parts company in Atlanta that adding 4 oz. of Yamaha lube R motocross oil to each tank of gas will increase life of apex seals. He indicated that too little oil is circulated in the engine for emmision reasons. This addition of 4 ozs of oil increases internal lubrication without fouling plugs. So he says. Any thougts?

This process is called "pre-mixing." Look it up on the seach function -- there will be a BUNCH of threads discussing this.

I've never heard of this but people who do remove the OMP (oil metering pump) use primix. I couldn't see it hurting anytyhing

People who don't remove the OMP do it also, as insurance. I run 6-8 oz of Royal Purple synthetic 2 stroke with each tank.
