Adding fuel potential prior to tuning

I am about to get my FD tuned on a Power FC. The car is relatively stock, just bigger intercooler/intake, catless midpipe, stock twins in seq ~10-11psi etc. But I am getting lean under full boost sometimes (probably because of the midpipe) thus the tune.

My question is, what do I need to do to increase my fuel potential prior to tuning so the car wont be lean, and so I can the most out of the stock turbos safely (12-13psi). Injectors, fuel pump, etc? Searched but couldn't find much info on this question for an essentially stock car with just more boost.

Thanks all.

I always do after any modifications, particularly since you know you are already lean. It is much much easier to take back fuel during the tune compared to having a Oh S-it moment and rebuilding your engine earlier than you expected. Simple as that.

^Yep. Fuel pump rewire makes a big difference and can bring in a good amount of fuel.

Next would be a drop-in fuel pump upgrade like the Walbro.

Read Banzai Racing's step-by-step mods with dyno results thread, you can really see how much power different mods make and how far you can go fuel-wise.

Fuel pump at minimum with a dedicated relay and ideally a secondary rail with larger injectors. 12lbs is about the max I consider safe on the stock fuel system and you will most likely experience boost creep with the full exhaust. Its a good idea to have the extra fuel system capacity.
