Add Coolant Buzzer when car is cold?

When i start the car, the add coolant light and buzzer comes on with the check engine light. I know the coolant is full, as well that i have plenty of oil.

If it helps I just changed the oil metering lines and it never made the sound before. Any help at all would be great.

Its not full. You have a air bubble most likely. Try bleeding the system from the back of the throtle body coolant line or jack the front of the car up really HI.

Or your motors blown. (coolant seal)

Did the lines to the sensor on the filler neck get frayed? I'd replace the sensor. Cheap fix.

i think i found the problem, rooting around the engine bay it looks like there is no vacuum line connected to my oil filler neck and i'm 99% sure there was one there before. Does anyone know where this connects to? UIM?

That connects to the uim. Look on the vacuum diagram that can be found by searching. Thats not going to cause your problem though. The two posters previous nailed it on the head. First I would burp the coolant system. You can search for peoples methods on doing this. I would think this is what it is. If that doesnt fix it, try replacing the coolant level sensor.
