So basically we have been troubleshooting our boost problem for one month now. Replaced all the hoses on the rats nest, replaced the boost control selonodis, and checked / replaced all the couplers going to the Intercooler and the Intakes. Our problem right now is the Actuator Charge Control does not move in when the car is started or the key is turned over it just stays out thus not letting any air to the first turbo and it will not spool up. So today we replaced it with a bran new one and a new ypipe put everything back togeather same problem So basically at this point I'm at the mercy of experience and have no idea what I can do now. So I need your help please so I can finally fix my car THanks for the help!!

why not go non-sequential...just a suggestion, this is what most people do when they give up on their boost problem....

 

I suggest putting everything back together first. Then do a check engine light diagnostic and see if you get any engine codes. It could be an electrical issue where a solenoid isn't working.

In the Diagnosis box in your engine bay, take a wire and wire up TEN and GND. Turn the car to on and see if the Check Engine Light flashes. PM me if you have any questions about this.

Since you replaced the charge control actuator, it most likely isn't the actuator. It is possibly the Charge Control Solenoid, which is the second solenoid from the front when looking at the row of solenoids from the front of the car under the rats nest. Hopefully this will solve your problem. Let me know if it does.

 

Or could be vacuum chamber, check valve, or one of the other soleniods that use the vacuum chamber could be leaking.

Best thing to do is get a vacuum hand pump(prefer Mityvac since you can also do pressure when needed) and then test the vacuum chamber. If it holds vacuum(will take some pumps to create vacuum) then connect your vacuum pump to the hose that came off the vacuum chamber and see if that holds vacuum. Neither should leak. If neither leak then certainly yank that solenoid and do the 12v test.

Although its too late now did you try to apply vacuum to the cca using a hand pump? That is the best test to just test the actuator. Doing the koko procedure tests the whole cca system.

Going to take the UIM off again on Monday and check the Charge Control Solenoid since all the vacum checks are showing that everything is fine. When we push the charge control actuator in, and then hit the gas in neutral we get our 4psi So basically I think we might have found a winner
