If you haven't done so already, so a vacuum hose job. Chances are a hose is leaking. It sreally not as hard as most people think. Do a search and find the vacuum hose diagram that is color coded. Do one hose at a time, and go from there.

the vacume hoses have been changed and I did recently do work but I replaced the diff and add a tranny brace. sunday I get it done, take it for a spin and i have no power but the boost is ok. I think my vacume chamber might be cracked or have oil in it, that will make the charge control actuator not work right I think

How do you have no power but good boost? Where is your boost gauge t'd into? It should be on the extra nipple on the passenger side of the UIM.

the charge control actuator is staying open. when I take the vacume line off the vacume chamber you can here the valve close in the pipe.
