Act's like she's getting no spark
What's up guy's
Ok, so here's the story i was taking my car to the local good year because there was no wheel lock specialty tool sent with the car. I was told they could take it off. To make a long story short i let her warm up, then i took off. She ran good for about 7/10ths of a mile then it just shut off. Out of nowhere thank god there was no one behind me. I didn't put it into boost or anything just cruising and the tack dropped to nothing. So i pulled over and tried to start it and it turned over and started and the rpm's went up to about 1200 and shut off. After a few minutes she started up then i took off and then about another 1100 feet she died. Now I was getting mad because i was on the side of the road in a bad car with the blinkies on lol. I figured it has to be something to do with the ignition because if the apex seals were bad it would smell of raw fuel and probably not start until they cooled down( at least they were the symptoms that my sisters 93 had when they were bad). So it wound up starting again after a few minutes then made it 600 ft. and i was like **** it its raining and were on the side of the road lets push her into the small development. Then after another few minutes she started up and i was like drop the hood were taking off we did and even though it was raining it felt fast(first time taking the car out on the road lol besides the time i was a passenger) it stayed alive for a little while then shut off real close to my house and after a minute or two she started made it 10 feet shut off i thew it into neutral cranked it, it started and took off sideways onto the road. got her home and then once it hit the drive way she ran great i was thinking to my self WTF is going on here does she like my driveway or something lol. From what i concluded is wrong with her is no spark because, at one time in those start ups she backfired and that means its getting fuel without spark and it ignites after. So that was one idea then when i turned it around in my driveway and my dad made me keep my foot on the brake while i taped the gas it popped and then the rpm's went up and actually the first time she shut off. Also, when trying to start it twice was i able to turn the key completely and it acted like it was just on the on position and i had to turn the key back and try again and it would work. So, from what the local rx7 builder can conclude from not looking at it is that its electrical as well. Now i have no idea where the plugs are to check them i can see the wires but no plugs lol. I hope its just a set of plugs and wire's.
