activating limp mode

Hey,
So I'm going to be breaking in the new streetported rebuild and just for safety I want to put the car in limp mode since I'm not used to driving it I may accidentally step on it too much.

I searched and found out how to turn limp mode off but never figured out how to activate it.
I need a quick answer I'm picking up the car tommorrow and I don't even wanna look at the mechanic cause I'm pissed at him so I gotta do it myself.

if you remove the vacuum tank on the top of the engine the two vacuum solenoids that are directly behind it control wastegate and precontrol. If you disconnect the electrical connectors on both solenoids you should only be able to get 7lbs of boost. Reinstal vacuum tank. An even safer route is to physically disconnect the waste gate and control rods from between the vacuum actuators and the doors. This is what I did. Never saw more than 0 psi. Be sure to plug all four vacuum/pressure lines to the actuators.

WHOAH hold the phone ur like stealing the rotary's mojo with no boost. this engine was created for the soul purpous of being turbocharged. dont take its mooojoooo!!

thanks sirjury I've never worked on the car before but I will try that as soon as I get the car back.

I am doing it just as another safety measure to make sure that I don't boost in the first few miles of the rebuild
Also if someone else drives my car they can't damage it either.
