Well... I get sideways quite often on the track, since I'm still getting used to the car. I have no problem countering the slide as long as I dont have to re-grip the wheel - so about 210deg opposite lock is max I can do... I still gotta learn how to make it smooth when I need to re-grip the steering wheel.

Re-grip is probably not the right word, but... you get the idea

I duno about all that hibbity blah, I have the same clutch with an exedy lightweight cromo flywheel and i have 10k miles freeway and about 100 miles or more at button willow and god knows how many runs down the dragstrip and its held up just fine, a little wear but it sure as hell didnt blow up an 1000 miles. anyhow, i duno about ACT being crap. i think it rocks, short of a 2-3 disc carbon/ carbon clutch its sturdy as hell and thats with 305 hp at the wheels. ACT rocks.....

let's examine what happened here. pressure plate side is still good and brand new, the flywheel side is toast. from the given info it MAY be the mechanics fault for not greasing up the splines or incorrect installation of the disc. or it could MAY be the driver's fault due to many clutch kicks that it could have damaged the splines or made the disc get hung up with the p. plate. these are just opinions and are only to be view as that. since i cannot visual inspect it myself.
