I've searched a few times and couldn't find a thread that discussed my specific issue.

For a long time, I've been able to manually kick on the fans by turning the AC on if I wanted to. One day it just stopped working. I know the fans are working because the PFC is turning them on at 94C. I liked the added benefit of being able to control the fans myself.

Where should I start looking?

Fan relays, check that all of them are working properly (4 of them).

 

Ok. I'll look up the schematic again.

 

it should be E-13 in the service manual. it will explain how/what to test for
