Ac Issues Help!!!!!!
my a/c is only blowing warm air, I did a search and found that this is a common problem, what I didnt see in any of those posts was the fact that my compressor is not engaging. I thought it was low freon and was filling it with r134 but it wont really take any in, there is a ton of air in the line that I was bleeding and for a period of about 30-45 seconds the air got FREEZING cold, then went really warm again and I get nothing. any ideas????? I have the pfc and noticed that may be part of the issues, my car is a 93 r1.

It is the PFC, they dont play well with the AC system. do a search in the ECU forum, there are instructions on how to make the AC bypass the PFC. I just did it a couple weeks ago and now I have wonderful AC again.
If you do this you will lose the ECU functions for the AC.
1) ECU shuts off AC when cranking over the engine to start it
2) ECU shuts off AC when high rpm, high trottle
3) ECU adjusts idle when AC on. With bypass you will get some surging when stopped at a light, etc. Nothing too major though.
