ac fuse keeps blowing

finally got the AC charged up, no leaks, compressor works good. However, the ac fuse keeps blowing whenever I crank the car? I believe I have a short in the system, any advise on how to fix?

Hmm, that's odd. The wire to the air pump is on the same circuit, so if the wires for the air pump are brittle and missing insulation, that can blow that fuse pronto if they short to ground by touching a metal part of the engine.

You'll need to do a little investigation to find the problem child - cold AC will be worth it, though!

My AC jsut stopped workign altogether one day .. when i was working on my radio .. and i blew that fuse.. the fuse for the AC its self looks fine.. is there some where else that there might be a problem to prevent my AC from turning on? when i put it on any speed the compressor engages. but nothing is coming out and i dont have a PFC . i dont know what else to check ..
