AC Bracket location

Hi guys,

Does anyone have photos of where this AC bracket goes?

What you are holding looks like the charge harness. I do not recall there being a bracket, but the larger black/white wire should be the body ground near the driver strut tower.

You are looking at the back of that bracket. The leftmost bolt hole is the top of the bracket.

That goes over the AC/PS bracket. So, that big bracket is attached to the engine, and this bracket goes over 2 of the rear studs that hold that bracket to the engine, then put on the nuts and tighten down.

Im going to try and put this back in without having to remove the PS/AC

Hopefully this fixes my starting issue

That's the primary ground to the engine, so that will definitely help . The negative battery terminal wire goes from the battery, to the bracket with the fuse block on the driver's shock tower, to that bracket bolted to the engine.

I think you can do it with everything there, I think I've had to do it before in a forgetful moment. Worst case maybe unbolt the AC compressor and shove it forward.

I cleaned up the bracket and installed it, worked like magic!

I did end up removing the Power steering and AC pump to fit the bracket in, I don't think it's necessary but made it a lot easier.
