Question ABS System Removal

I took out my motor and I'm taking it down to Pinnapple Racing in a few weeks. In the meantime I'm cleaning my engine compartment. You see I'm putting in a Greddy T-78 and I want(NEED) everything to be very clean. I know that some guys take their A.B.S. out for some reason, but what for? I'm thinking that it is such a B#*ch to clean around. I also hear that they tend to fail. At what time do they fail and how hard is it to remove?

Thanks

I will probably be doing this in the near future. Possibly within 2 weeks. I just got my brake balancer from Summit Racing, so that's what I was waiting for to get this project under way. You'll need a pipe cutter and a flare tool, plus the necessary fittings. I'm doing this because I have aftermarket 17" rims and WAY bigger than stock tires. Since the stock sizes is 16" 215/40 R16(someone with stock rims/stock tire sizes help me out), and I've got 275/40 out back with 235/45 up front...well the abs computer still thinks I've got the smaller tires...

...I've tested out my abs quite a few times...I've hit the brakes HARD after a good acceleration and have made them SCREEEEEECH!!!!
