started the car and backed it out of the garage. there is snow on the groung so i didnt take it out on the street. the tires spun a lil on the snow and the abs light came on and then off. the i continued to drive back to the garage and the tires spun a little again, and agin the light came on.....any thoughts on why this would happen? the light turns off after i regain traction

 

Sometimes if the tires spin at different rates it will trip the abs light. Happens on the dyno or if you run the car with the wheels off the ground on some cars. Try disconnecting the battery.
