Question ABS goes off when revving over 4K

We lined up a ghetto 1/8th mile track yesterday instead of running an autocross course and about my fifth run, sitting at the line my ABS light comes on after revving for lauch. I didn't think anything of it because the light comes on now and a gain, but goes away. But this time I actually realized that I wasn't just throwing a light...my ABS didn't work!!! An inconvenient realization at 85mph with very little room to stop.

Now I have some flat spots on my tires (minor) and this questioned on the forums.

What gives?

BTW, I was racing a 1996 Ford Cosworth. He ate my lunch the first time but it's partly because I hit my rev limiter out of third. I was too busy determining if I was gaining and not watching the tach Got him the next two times though. I guess he had some bad launches. He said he was pushing 320hp. After that first run...I believe him!!! Raced my buddies 1G GSX too. He got 3/4 of a car on me before I destroyed him by about two to three car lengths. He was happy to take the hole shot though...good on him!

I guess I'm going to have to actually call a real mechanic on this one.

Had it been a trivial "what wing should I buy" question, I might have gotten a few responses.

Oh well.

Oh...your not asking abot wings then?

Try the Big-List, you'll probably get a good response there.

Probally a wheel sensor. If they go bad the system shuts off. Or a possable low voltage issue.
