What is the standard fuel ratio? 12 to 1.... I have no idea. Also anyone now of a good tuner. I need someone who knows everything about the Power FC. Someone who's done this before.

Any ideas?????????????

Most people tune for 11:1 to 11.5:1 under boost at higher rpm. Look here for an example of a safely tuned fuel map:

If you are going to be tuning yourself, you need to get the datalogit for the PFC. Once you do, you have access to the datalogit group on yahoo and can learn a lot from there. Also, read through the PFC forum. Lots of good info there if you go back a year or two.

Check the regional forums for a tuner in your area.

I've read here that many people tune the FD for 11:1 (thats 11 to 1).

I don't think there is a standard. I believe it depends on the car. There a stoichometric value that is something like 14.7:1, but I forgot what it represents. That might be the ideal equilibrium ratio or something like that. Will the PowerFC show a/f ratio?

14.7:1 represents the IDEAL ratio of air to fuel to generate the most power. Unfortunately, it also creates extremely high combustion temperatures and so isn't a feasible ratio to run in the real world. Therefore, cars run richer ratios -- the excess fuel helps to cool the combustion temps.

The PFC does not display a/f ratio but you can read the voltage from the stock narrowband o2 sensor -- which doesn't do you a whole lot of good. You can datalog your a/f ratio if you have a wideband o2 sensor and the datalogit add-on.
