Unless you are getting a wideband 02 sensor, or at the very least, the Greddy A/F gauge that comes with its own 02 sensor, you are wasting your money.

ANY A/F gauge that relies on the stock 02 sensor is less than worthless. It will be very inaccurate at WOT, exactly where you need it. Get a good water temp gauge instead if you don't have one.

BTW, as far as appearance and functionality, take a look at the defi gauges (www.defi-shop.com).

Defi Link gauges are pretty damn sweet! The backlighting is green though, but still pretty damn cool. Expect to spend some coin however.

You can get the Defi D-gauges with amber backlighting. I don't like the fact that the boost gauge goes up to 35 psi (!) and has odd division markings though.

No, I posted about it about a month ago - they just made a set of ornage backlight w/ red needle - I was thinking about getting them, but then Jason from the RX7 store posted a picture of them and I decided against it... actually, I might still - depending on the depth of the gauge, but in typical Omori fashion, I asked them how deep the gauge was and they never answered.

Look into a Power FC with Commander--shows all you need, incl. boost, water temp, intake temp, and injector duty. Yeah, it's pricy, but you get a hell of a lot for your money.

An A/F ratio which uses the stock O2 sensor is usless. Personnaly I would not trust the Greddy one 100% but that's just me. I have heard people swear on their lives that its as accurate as true widebands but I'm not convinced. If you want a nice light show, go for it but I don't think you should risk your 2-5k engine on it, especially if your gonna be boosting high. It is your engine so do what you wanna do...

Good luck

maybe he just wants the light show. I wouldnt mind having the light show, in a honda. another thing not everybody is modding and boosting high in a rx7! Some people like show and no go, unlike me STRICKLY BOOST!!, fish tailing at 60 mph ect. ect.... I have also noticed that guages are very exspensive after you totlae it up!!
