About to buy an exhaust......

It's the HKS Carbon Ti....

I've searched and read all that I could find...... I have found that this is one of the loudest exhaust out there..... My Rex is stock right now, but I will be adding on a DP soon......

I've heard the Blitz NurSpec and it sounds very loud, actually a little too loud for my taste, but then again he had custom intake, dp and mp to go with that so yeah....

I know that the GReddy SP is very quiet, but I want something just a little bit louder than the SP.... I think was it the Apex N1 that fits that description?

Any help would be nice.

N1 should fit those needs.

Yeah that would pretty much help out and solve all of our exhaust hunting problems.

Is any part of the HKS Carbon Ti actually made out of titanium? I read that it's all just stainless steel just like the Hiper but wrapped with a sheet of carbon fiber.

Or is only the tip made of titanium?

TIA.

With just the tip in titanium I see no reason for the carbon fiber on the can except maybe if the carbon insulates the sound slightly. I guess it's just for looks with only a flame burned tip in titanium. No weight savings there.

You can ask Crashunit since he has/had one for sale.

Wait nm I got this off of the HKS site:

Special Edition HKS Carbon / Titanium Hi-Power Exhaust systems are available for certain popular applications. These exclusive versions of the Hi-Power Exhaust consist of a carbon fiber wrapped stainless muffler shell, a 120mm titanium tip, and polished stainless steel piping.

So it's part stainless steel, part carbon fiber and also part titanium......... hhmmm............. interesting.....

Oh and also part rainbow........ more or less bluey....... I think this is the only exhaust out right now that gets the blue tipped Ti treatment correct?

No, JIC Magic full titanium has a flame burned tip and there are others. I beleive the universal N1's by Apexi are flame tiped also.
