99 twins and Y pipe quick question

Hi all, sorry, I have searched in two different occasions, but I can't find much on what I'm looking for.
Do I need a 99 Y pipe on 99 twins, or can I just use the 93 one?

All I was able to find was a thread where somebody was talking about a swap between one and the other, which leads me to believe that they are interchangeable.

I do know the 99 is a better piece.

Thank you all,
Giovanni

Either Y-pipe will work fine, the twins don't care at all.
