99 Spec turbos installed
I finally got the brand new (0 miles) 99 spec turbos that I got from Jesse Lau installed on the car, what a bitch of a job at that. After fixing a loose hose, the car is running like it did before, but "feels" faster. Having changed only the turbos, and now rough tuning for the fuel curve, I'll head back to the dyno with the same boost setting to see if the more efficient turbos mean lower charge temps, quicker boost response, more hp in the lower range, more area under the curve.
Last time on the dyno, 334 rwhp, 13 psi.
I'll tune the PFC for 13 and 15 psi with these turbos....since its only my weekend toy, I don't worry about wearing the turbos out at 15 psi since I don't drive the car alot.

The 99 spec turbos make 12 psi about 200 rpms quicker (2800 compared to 3000) than my stock turbos. I didn't get to tune it in with the wideband yet, so before and after only show what rough tuning I could do with the PFC for the stock turbos and rough tuning (basically 3 runs with adjustments inbetween) with the 99 turbos. At the same boost level (12 psi) I was making 6 to 8 HP more to the wheels through out the entire run. I didn't get to run it on 13 psi since I was just working on the first setting which was still .82 to .84 psi. I've gotten a slipping clutch ow I'll need to address that before I go back and dial it in with the wide band.
