99 spec lip with 99 brake ducts?

Anyone try using the 99 brake ducts on a 99 lip? Jason(RX7Store) says he can get the ducts but what's involved to put it on a 93 touring?

I dunno about the '99 lip. the brake ducts don't line up with the US spec front nose oil cooler ducts? Looks goofy IMO. Best to go with a full '99 nose piece

Don't know what you mean Manny, AFAIK my 99 brake ducts line up fine with my 99 lip on my original 93 front bumper. Looks great in my opinion and is functional as well. You mean because they are slightly larger?

Since I don't have an R1, maybe there is a fitment issue on the passenger side oil cooler underneath the car?

I think Sleep is talking about how the '99 spec brake ducts are supposed to eliminate the oil cooler ducts. It may be different for the R1 models, since you got two to deal with. From looking at the pictures of the '99 spec brake ducts, they do look like they hang a little bit lower.

I just put on my 99 lip on Saturday and it looks pretty good. My question is, does the 99 brake ducts actually route air to the brakes correctly or do you have to modify something? If you could send me an up close picture of the ducts on the car, that would be great.

Thanks
