I was wondering, does 99 spec come with oil cooler duct for dual oil cooler? I know R1 has dual oil cooler and there is duct for each side attach to the bumper. Someone told me for 99 spec brake duct and oil cooler duct are together. Just want to confirmed that info.

 

The 99 spec brake duct mfg by Mazda is supposed to replace both ducts. It's basically the two lower corner sections, on either side of the radiator shroud (under tray).

I guess Mazda figured the 99 bumper, with deeper duct openings, would route the majority of the air through the oil coolers.

There are a couple of companies that make dedicated oil cooler ducts similar to the 93-95 type for the 99 bumper. They overlap the 99 bumper ducts & direct all the air through the coolers.

 

Can you send me the link of those companies that make dedicated oil cooler duct for 99 bumper?
