ive been reading up on the 98/99 spec conversion and ive seen places selling the front end with a radiator/core support....is it required to change the core support to do the conversion or will the 99 spec bumper work with the original core support. also, has anyone bought the fiberglass replica spirit r wing off ebay. it seems to be ok and the middle section even adjusts. they want about $250 for it. $900+ is a little steep for a genuine jdm wing. raceonusa also sells a urethane replica 99 spec front bumper for about a third of the price of the genuine article.

 

You can use stock re-bar and mount 99spec. front bumper with minor modification. I have the replica spoiler with CF center deck from vis and they are great.

 

ok thanx a lot, a new rad support sounds like an obscene amount of money/work just to change a bumper.
