99 spec bumper duct brake or oil?
just bought a 99 spec cover and rebar for my 93 fd. Tried searching long and hard to figure out the difference between the brake and oil cooler duct. So here is what i understand and please correct me if I am wrong....There is no such thing as a 99 oil cooler duct for 99 bumper. The brake ducts for the 99 bumpers r both for brake and oil cooling?? Thanks and sorry if this seems like a dumb question
You are correct, there are no 99-spec oil cooler ducts. If I remember correctly, some utilize the R-magic ducts. I believe RHD Japan sells them.
99-spec does come with brake ducts but not sure if they compliment when it comes to helping cool the oil.

Correct, there are no OEM oil cooler ducts from the 99 spec front bumper to the R1 oil coolers.
Be aware if you plan to run the R-Magic ducts (which work very well) with the above setup you have to do some trimming of the rebar to clear the ducts. Bit of a PITA, with lots of trial and error and bumper on/off.
The ducts under the coolers are for the brakes only.
