99 Spec brake questions

This may sound like a silly question but do the 99 spec brakes use the same pads as the 93-95 brakes for the front and rear? I have never had to replace my pads on my car until now and any info would be greatly appreciated.

Well rhdjapan.com says
for 94-96 these brake pads work. rhdjapan.com search 94-96

for 99-00 they say these work. rhdjapan.com seach 99-00

I could've sworn I read somewhere on here 99spec brakes are different then our 93-95 ones, but maybe that was only for certain models, not really sure. Make sure you know what you have...

Now first I assume your are talking of the "99+ big brakes" on RZ series. I have them but honestly don't remember is pads are different. Front calipers are basically the same, same length and height, width is wider for the thicker disc and piston bores are in same centers but of differential diameters. Rears are the same pads as caliper is the same just spaced further out.

Not sure about the front.

Rear is the same pad. It is the same caliper mounted farther.

Rotors are wildly different, but the F/R pads on the big 99+ brakes are the same as the ones on the early FD's you guys have.
