Exclamation 99 spec brake ducts !!!

any interest for 99 spec brake ducts? If you would like a pair place your name down in shines group buy section, so they can get made ...there are alot of 99 spec conversions on the forum and I see that most of the time they are missing this piece...If you do not know, they go behind the lip covering the hole where you can see the ground through...

this is how it looks installed in the first pic... the second it is not... do you see the ground? This is how you will find most conversions on the forum, because these pieces are hard to come by...

Available thru Mazda Motorsports.

F138-43-64XB DUCT (L) , BRAKE AIR COOLING $61.40
F138-43-63XB C DUCT (R) , BRAKE AIR COOLING $61.40

Notes: Left & right brake cooling duct required when installing '99 RX-7 front bumper to earlier years. Design eliminates oil cooler ducting.

Your going to "make" them? Why? You can still buy them.

mazda motorsports is for members only that compete in track events... they are not so readily available , or 90% of the 99conversions on this forum would not be without them....

You only have to do 2 autocrosses a year, it's not that hard. And I didn't buy them even though I'm a member of mazda motorsports because I think can come up with a better ducting solution for both the oil coolers and brakes myself. Whenever I have some free time anyway... lol

I don't think that they can, because I have tried my local dealership and they did not show up... malloy, maybe.... but I thought someone had tried through him once before... I could be wrong... as far as the cost, I am not sure that would be for shine to decide what would be fair, but it usually is...

well, the point would be ducting to the oil coolers and the brakes... This ducts air to them both, aiding in cooling them down... If you look at the second picture in the area of the oil cooler opening on the bumper, you will see light comming through, because of no ducting as well as the area right behind the lip where you see light ... on herblenny's car there is the 99 ducts ... I have seen them in person ... I could not find one of the same angle to show no light coming through... I hope that explains on where they go and there function... afterburn, I to would like to create my own ... I just don't have the time right now to do so... I as well think I can come up with something that would work better... but oh well... If these become available I will buy them....
