Cause its not required. Anywho. Bout that Rikki comment, I'm guessing you might offend some actaul Rikki's with that who don't fit the purp description . Also, this is yet another reason why I, as well as anybody here, would love to import the RZ.

Check the import thread for details.

Actually you can see the passenger side bag on the newer RZ, the one with the red seats.

Seats should be direct bolt on and fit perfectly

Although I don't know anyone that has tried it in the US, I'm almost positive that neither the tub nor the traansmision tunnel have changed at all in the FD, so there's no reason why it wouldn't... if you look closely, the seat is not symetric - the lower inside bolsters are much shorter than the outside so that the seat fits in the FD correctly. I don't know if all the J-Spec SRG's are like that, but I'd bet that it is a necessity to get them in our cars.

There is a race seat manufacturer down here in Welington (NZ) that is making efforts to get into the US market. They are a small enough business at the moment that they might look at doing an FD specific set-up ... I will go and see them early next week and see if I can persuade them.

Their website is http://www.racetech.co.nz
