99---> 93 parts compatibility questions

Do all models of the 99+ cars use the same turbos? The ones with the abradable seals?

When running 99+ front brakes on a 93 car do you need to swap out the master cyl or proportioning valve?

Did they change the oil cooler(s) on the later cars or are they all the same?

TIA!

Jeff

1. No. Only the RS/RZ models had the abraidable seals.

2. No. Only the RS/RZ models used the bigger rotors. Calipers still use same piston area I believe (pads are same size). In any case, you don't need to change master cylinder or proportioning valve.

3. Don't know that one.

I'm trying to post a pic of the brakes but I'm not having any luck. These brakes look bigger, I'm trying to figure out if this is the RS/RZ model...

Dunno about oil coolers (Mazda Motorsports thinks they are the same) but I know the "big" brakes use the same master cylinder and proportioning valve, so you could even use the 929 master too if you pleased.
