Since I never use cruise control, I want to re-wire my cruise control buttons in the stock steering wheel to control volume on my stereo.

I skimmed through the FSM, but didn't find any details on the CC buttons.

My question is: What do I need to remove from the steering wheel to get to the cruise control button wires? (Air bag, the entire wheel?)
