I want to buy an used m2 or pettit ecu but dont know compatible with my 95 cali ecu. I have heard that i cant use 93-94 cali ecu because 95 doesnt have a EGR and 93-94 does come with one. I believe that non-cali ecu also doesnt come with a EGR just like a 95 cali. So are 95 cali and non-cali ecu exactly the same? thanks guys

 

First question is are you sure your car is a cali-car? I bought my car here but it was originally an NC car. Secondly, this question gets asked all the time and no one seems to know for 100% sure. Try to contact M2 and see what they say.

 

all cali cars have EGR no matter what year it is.

a 93 ecu will work on a 94-95 car. i know from those that have done it and tried it without any ill effects. Yet i'm not sure if a 94 ecu will work on a 93 car.

Does anyone else agree that 95 cail cars comes with a EGR? Ill did call mostly mazda and they said the samething as RX7elmo mentioned but pettit actually said that 95 cali are the same as non-cali ecu. I would said that majority of the people have told me 95 cali ecu have no EGR. Im just too damn confused on this, i need help??
