94 pettit ECU on a 93

i bought a pettit racing ECU from a friend that has a 94 and i have a 93 will the ECU work perfect on my car? so far i didn't run into any problems with it but i want to know what you guys think.

it will work but u will have a check engine light!

i've put it in and no check engine light. i guess it will work fine.

Supposedly a 94 or 95 ecu will work in all years but, a 93 won't work in a 94 or 95.

You should be fine.
