94 FD in the Open Track Challenge

There was an FD in the OTC that did very well. Go to www.opentrackchallenge.com and check the results. They posted a great finish considering the megabuck competition. I just wanted to know the specs on the car and figured someone here probably knows or knows who's car it is. None of the sites I went to for updates had any info on it. Thanks.

I too will have an FD someday (probably 2 years when I get out of the Navy and get a real job). I have crazy plans for my FD.

Actually it isn't much of an anamoly. There are quite a few V8 Miatas out there. The guys driving that one had very little race experience and it showed. With more driving time, and some suspension setup that car would be fast.

The cars in this competition were mostly megabuck cars with practically race prepared suspensions. The most impressive cars IMO were the stock '94 Miata R that placed third in its class and the modified RX-7 turbo II that won its class. Those cars competed in the same class. The Miata was way faster in the turns, but the Rex had the power.

I still want info on the '94 FD... anyone?
