I just installed the driver side and passenger side air bags and made sure all the connections are connected well. I'm thinking there is some way to reset the system so that the air bag light does not blink and stay on? Anyone have any input as for the air bag light staying on. Please any help is appreciated..

Yes they were both deployed in an accident. I bought my car with a salvaged title and done ALL the work to get her back into working order. She only has 27k miles on chasis and motor. I need to figure out the problem with the air bag light to pass state inspection June 4th.

 

the crash sensors may be screwed or the wiring. i assume you had the battery off when you were installing them? you can pull codes for the abs/airbag

 

You need new A/B modules dude !!!!

Otherwise pull the intrument cluster out and remove the bulbs. Air-bags won't work though.
