93 and up RX7 or Cosmo front clip
You guys have any ideas on where to get a JDM front clip from a 93 and up RX7 or JC Cosmo in the US? 13B or 20B either one. Still researching on if I want to use the 20B or the 13B. Any comments or help would be appreciated. Thanks Guys.

The JC Cosmo (90-95) 13B-REW gives better mid range & has larger ports than the FD RX-7 (92-02) 13B-REW
The JC Cosmo (90-95) 20B-REW just ***** on them both but is usually 2-3 times the price to buy, 3-4 times the price to install.

Why is it soo much more to install the 20B than the 13B??? It isn't going into any Mazda anyway so a lot of fabrication will have to be done to fit either one in there. It will be going into a Toyota 4Runner. It is a smaller to midsize SUV. Should have some great power after putting either one in there!

It is going to be a SEMA vehicle. Mainly for shows but I would like to whip up on all the boys with Honda's and other junk!!! Should be a fun project. Just need to decide on the 20B or the 13B...

with the weight of the 4-Runner, you're probably going to want to go with the 20B. My old room mate was looking at putting one in a DeLorian, and he found a video of a guy with the conversion done. He claimed 600 crank hp. on stock turbos with lots of tuning. the 13B will need massive boost to run those kinds of numbers, and won't ever have the torque of the higher displacement 20B.

Be careful with flashoptions. I have had no personal experience with them.. I purchased my SR clip from someone else but what I have seen they are a bad company.
Think about it... their prices are almost $1000 lower then most other places. They are in Malaysia so the have to pay to ship from Japan...? They don't own a compression test or do a leak down test, at least for SR motor sets.
Too many stories of people sending off money and 8 months later... still no engine.

it's fairly normal that they are in Malasia. Importing or exporting goods straigth from Japan or China o Europe or the US is more costly in taxes than first shipping it to Malasia and then shippin g it further into the world. Malasia import/export taxes are way lower and they are in a treaty with countries like Japan and China which implicates favorable good transfers at low tax rates.

Dude, how much $$ do you have to be buyin a 20B and puttin it in a 4runner?
I mean if you have it thats one thing, but is it worth doing all that to what at the end of the day is still an SUV?
Just my thoughts. Sorry this did not address your question in any way, my bad.

Don't have too much money. Just gettin deals on most stuff. It is a SEMA build-up. Just want to do something different. Twin turbo 20B RHD air bagged and stock floor body dropped 4Runner on 20's and 22's will definately be different. Fast too. People will laugh until it whips them in the 1/4 mi... I'll laugh all the way to the bank. Hell yea, it will be worth it... At least for me. I am building it for me and not anyone else.

I hope you're gonna widen the wheelbase...I would hate to see that clunky POSSUV spin/flip in a turn. Actually I wouldn't mind seeing that, as long as there was no driver. I think it's a horrible idea. Actually, I would feel better if you were dropping the rotary in a Jeep!
I don't consider the 4 runner a classy or well rounded SUV in the least. Bumpy, cramped, and unattractive; defintely not worthy of any Mazda components. I'm allowed to say that in an RX-7 forum right?
