Sounds to me like the engine is blown and it possibly through a bit of your apex seal through your turbo..maybe thats why the black smoke.

crappy idle..thats probably comression loss.

good luck!

Do a compression test and see what you are getting, like what the other members said its probably a blown engine. goodluck.

Sounds like the map sensor line blew off. It is right behind teh throttle body attached to the fire wall. It will have a vacuum line attached to it(or should) and make sure it connects to a vacuum port on the rear of the upper intake manifold.

To get the car to start again replace your spark plugs with NEW ONEs. IF the map sensor is hooked up correctly and the new plugs dont help you likely have a blown engine and need to perform a compression test.

Perhaps more information provided will be better for us to help you. Miles on the motor and mods?

i would have to assume one or more of your apex seals cracked and or broke off. does the engine still turn over when you start it? take out your lead spark plug, (bottom plug on your front rotor) and crank over. if the engine is good, which i doubt from what you've said, then you should here an even "psst.. psst.. psst.. psst" (each apex seal creating ignition to the plugs) if you here a psst.. psst.. .. .. psst.. psst.. .. .. psst, then your apex is probably cracked or gone... hope this helps

If it were the MAP sensor vac line then the car would still start but run like ***. Same for your oil metering pump going out, but in that case you'd wanna check for an engine code which would indicate that. (and "hella black smoke" is a dead giveaway)
But since the car wont start at all I agree that the motor may be blown. You might want to get someone experienced to confirm this for you.
