the switches are prone to not makeing contact the drivers side also has the power travler that feeds the passenger side to rebuild these you need twezers and diolectric grease, one to keep from further crossion but mostley to hold tiny steel roller *****! good luck

Not making contact where? On the connector where the switch plugs in?

not making contact at the contact point when you press the switch to operate the window.

its hard to discribe but the points are on a rocker that that uses small steel ***** to help rocker action. p.s. i forgot to say you have to take switch apart, it also installs easyer upside down when you put it back togeather. sounds like a pain in the *** uh. just be careful when it comes apart.

Of course, I've ordered a lot of parts from them. I didn't pay for the replacement... they overnighted to me (at my request), and I just told them I'd send the old one back. They even gave me a pre-paid slip so I can use the same box and mail it back to them free of charge.

Go figure, Ray was on vacation or something, won't be back until the 10th. Tracy was taking care of things for him.. and she's learning. I've had to send parts back to Ray before and he's always good about taking your word for it... if he didn't get them back anyway, he'd probably just charge them... or forget (ray forgets a lot)

I know people who bought engines from him, and he sent the engine before even receiving the money because he took the guys word. Of course... he was paid for it as planned. Ray is a good guy.

You take the switch apart, and where the V-shaped rocker contacts connect to the points/wires need to be scrubbed. Its a 5 minute job.

Think of a seesaw, but only one side touches the ground. thats why it will work for only up OR down and not both. Watch out for the little springs and white dowel pin looking things. (return to center mechanism) They will fly out!
