93 r1 project
well its been a while since i have posted anything and im starting my project on my FD. Im starting up a shopping list but its kinda hard for me to work on it due to the internet connection in Iraq. yes im on deployment and it sucks. I want to purchase a couple parts so that when i go home i got something to work on. my first mods are a fiber hood, tenzo rims and Re Amemiya body kit. the engine is rebuilt. what im trying to find are some intake tubes/hoses that can fit Apexi air filters. i still have the stock rubber hoses and they get sucked in with the pressure. i havent been able to find some intake hoses or tubes to fit. if anybody would mind giving me a hand or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. that is one of my first bump in the road. the car is in decent shape mostly needs body and new paint job. biggest problem is oil leak from oil gasket which is getting fixed as we speak. more post soon to come.

You might be able to do something similar to what I did years ago with my old fd. I used a combo of stock piping and apexi filters. Looked like this...
