93 fd boost problem

well i bought the car in January and knew it had a boost problem ,which is the reason i got a good price on it at a used car dealer ship in Des Moine IA. well I've been working on the car since then and spent countless nights reading the forum for the problem. well it boost pattern is like th 3900 6-9psi sometimes more then no boost at 4k more like its actually 1-0psi and on rare occasions (only seen twice) were it produces boost after 4k. and i have no idea why either. well heres what I've fixed/replaced to what i thought would solve the problem first i replaced the "rubber joint connector" the Y-pipe rubber connector thinking it might be the problem nope 50bucks down the drain. then when i was putting on my cold air intake i noticed the hose that goes to the primary turbo was collapsed and had a hole in it so i bought after market metal intake pipes for it thinking that would solve the problem nope. but it did help though because i can hear the turbos spool up now and needed to be fixed any ways. but then yesterday in class i noticed a vacuum hose with a screw in it that was clamp off for what reason i do not know. it was the vacuum hose that went to the turbo precontrol actuator. the nipple that the hose was supposed to connect to the turbo was capped off. so today i uncapped the nipple and took the screw out of the hose and put it in on the nipple. and still no boost. well i had already checked the for vacuum leaks with propane and the engine running and didnt find anything so now im out of ideas of what to check for does anyone have any ideas how i can get my secondary turbo to work?

find a vacuum diagram and pull your upper intake manifold. I would bet something is misrouted in there.

solenoids, vacuum lines, and actuators, son. . .study and remember these words. Once you understand what each of them does (and you can learn this by reading posts on here), then you can start to trouble-shoot your problems. Takes a while, but very rewarding as you learn to diagnose and fix turbo problems!

Before you dig into the rats nest, remove the other intake couplers and inspect every one. Remove the metal cover on the elbow on the bottom of the intercooler to inspect the rubber.

Sounds Like Your Catalyst Has Come Loose And Plugging Your Exhaust, Has Happened More Times That I Can Count. Remove Your O2 Sensor And See If It Gets Any Better. This Takes 15 Minutes Including The Test Drive.

well thats what i was thinking after i had installed my shiny new exhaust (apexi dual n1) today it sounded quite... quiet?? even pass 6500 it didnt sound as loud as i thought it would be. would the precat being clogged cause this? and also the reason for the boost problem? but anyways i already ordered a downpipe not thinking the precat would be clogged.
