Guys,
I believe I have a great deal on a 93 cym..
63k on chassis
1k on rebuilt motor
Not a single door ding on the car -paint is excellent
Greddy exhaust, pacesetter springs
Racing Hart 3pc M5's:
18x9 front
18x10 rears

Pulls HARD... what's this worth? I'll post the guys asking price after everyone quotes an amount

If it's very clean, no damage 19,000-23000 I would guess.

I'd say you should be about to at least $20k for the car if you're willing to wait for the right buyer; a little less if you need to sell it right away.

It depends how much CYM is worth to you? Personally I wouldn't pay extra for a yellow car, especially considering how much more they usually go for.

you have to pay to play.

18-20k is good for the car.

You can not reasonably expect to pay 16k for a car and get all what you want.

i paid 20k for my car two years ago and think i still got a sweet deal for it.

yea, it's pretty mint.

interior looks good... the suede looks a little worn but no rips or tears

literally, i can't find a single ding on the car.
the fenders were repainted.. and is slightly off from the rest of the car

but thats about it.
it looks so crazy with the 18x10 M5's

He's a good friend of mine.. and said he would sell it to me for $17k

if this goes through.. i'll definately post pics

17K sounds like a good deal, not a great deal. I don't know why some people think the CYM is worth more.

And when you are ready to replace the worn Alcantara suede I can help you out - and rebuild your seats back to "like new" condition. PM me for details. Oh yeah, I have bright yellow if you want to get crazy.

17k is an excellent deal for a CYM. a CYM really isnt worth more its just people it is because only 350 of them were made. its not like they were a special edition or anything however the car is worth what the market is willing to pay for it so thats why CYM's are generally more.

In that case, it's worth less than it would be otherwise, definitely less than $20k.

And yes, the CYM is worth more. It's just supply and demand. I personally don't care about them, but there's many people that love the CYM, and so few nice ones left. Therefore, they're worth more than other R1s.

Is this really true? Only 350 them were made?

I've read that here and there but I wonder if that is really fact....

Still tryin to decide what I wanna do... Already got 1 person local here wanting to buy the s13. I need more room to haul around parts. And the FD didn't like 150+ miles a day on her.

Might sell the 240 and the bike and find somethin a little bigger for my daily driver...

If this guy backs out, I'll keep ya in mind.

Well since we started on the subject of how much this car is worth, i was wondering about a car that I just picked up down in North Carolina. The car is a 93 silver rx-7 touring model, 5spd. There were 79000 miles on the car, and about 800 miles on a mazda reman engine. The tranny was rebuild in 2000 about 5000 miles ago, it has a new racing clutch. A set of new yokohama advan tires. It has a $2200 knightsport hood, R1 springs and shocks, strut bar, lightweight pulleys, downpipe, greddy intake, greddy catback exhaust. It also has autometer air/fuel ratio gauge, water temp guage, and greddy turbo gauge. The body and paint is in real good shape, with only a few knicks here and there but not noticable from 5 feet away. (People who dont know what the car is think it is a 2003 model, hehe). On the driver side door it has a slight, hardly noticible finger print dent. Along with the purchase he included the original hood in mint condition, another set of tires with over 70 percent of tread left on them, and many other parts he had left after making modifications, here is a pic of my car, I wish I had a pic that shows you the hood, it is the nicest hood i have ever seen on any car. ( and it allows lots of air to get in and cool the engine off.
Adam P
Ill tell you guys how much i payed for it after i get some figures of how much you guys think it is worth.

I got $26K for my CYM, but it was mint with a single. That was also a couple years ago.
