Otherwise go to:

I have ordered about 20 pairs of OEM Door sill scuff plates from Mike. They have very good service. Tell him that you from RX7 Forum. He will give you a discount.

If your talking about the Aluminum Scuff Plates, you can get them at Pettit Racing

They aren't listed on their website pettitracing.com but you can call them(954) 563-6064.

I got mine from them. To match them, I found a brushed aluminum dash overlay kit.

Click here to see the dash overlay kit

Yep. Clear out the discontinued Mazda inventory if you want, because they are going fast and very nice. Got mine even before reliability mods because of short supply in the US, and they match the gold-anodized lugs and exhaust tip. They also match the instruments bezel rings.

But Carbon-fiber would be nice if they are immune to scuffing(the ladies' heels, ya know.. )

They will get about as scuffed as the aluminum ones. However, I think you can always take a mild rubbing compound to it and wax up the cf ones.

What do you guys do to clean yours up, I have a lot of little scratches in mine and would like to get rid of them. Is there some sort of coating on these, or will aluminum polish work?

Greedy pig, Neo...

If you're too out of shape or fat to lift your feet over the sill getting in and out, you don't deserve a ride in such a car... Ok.... alright.... I use Mothers Aluminum Polish. The OEM sills are not clear-coated, though they come with protective shrink-wrap over them in the box that you have to peel off to reveal their blingy goodness.

Pics of the CF ones around, Attila?

Last week we saw the finished molds for the CF door sills.

AND!!!!! they will have the same "RX-7" embedded into the carbon fiber. (not gold though). We are excited and can't wait to see them too!

Actually, they were a dealer installed option. Standard "equipment" is the narrow black plastic piece.

If you really want one let me know. I am sure that we can ask for it to be omitted when being made. Your car still 'looks' like an RX-7

Actually they are an accessory like the car cover, CD player, etc. FD01-V3-460G is the part number. Mine came with stock tan sills and I still got 'em if anyone wants them(slightly scuffed).

Jim,

What the he11 color is your car? Green, blue, purple or ? I've seen quite a few pics of your car, and each one looks like it's a different color.

As for the door sills, we should have one set ready to show within a week, no later than two.

As for cost, we are trying for around the same price as the stock sills.

Attila
