850 primary injectors
Can anyone help me out with putting my 850 injectors into my primary fuel rail?
I did some searching and came across this link many times
http://www.wvinter.net/~flanham/wla...uel/850pri.html
but the link is dead and doesnt work anymore...I have done a lil bit of reading and i cant picture in my head how people put an extra o-ring or milling the rail or shaving or w/e...so any pics would help out alot, or a new link showing me how to install these.

It's simple really, the 850s are physically shorter than the 550s. Just put them side by side and you'll be able to see the diff. The primary fuel rail is designed for the 550's longer body. When replacing the 550s with the 850s, the lower o-ring no longer reachs far enough to seal. by placing an extra oring into the fuel rail (the same one as the lower o-ring on the 850, so you now have 2 lower o-rings), you effectively extented the length of the injectors.
The other method is to take the seating surface on top and mill it down slightly so the injector can sit lower into the fuel rail and form the seal.
Either way works, the extra o-ring method is quicker.
