when i start her up she starts to idle at about 800rpm at about 3 to 5 minutes later she jumps to 1300rpm and stays there and will not come down.I checked vacuum hoses and i don't seem to find anything loose or put of place.any suggestions?

 

If the idle is raising by itself you most likely have a problem with the idle air control valve

 

great!!!! now i will be in the search section for days,every time i use the search function to find a problem i end up reading everything else, its like a project to come back from there.

 

might have a faulty TPS sensor

 

will i be able to tell if the tps sensor is bad in my PFS PMS?

 

do you have any mods done to the car?

i just had a sigh of relief when you said that....i feel emotionally for rx7s pain when ppl run a stock ECU on a full exhaust I'M THIRSTY
