7 on the road again

I just wanted to let everyone know I just got my 94 rx7 back on the road today after two years of sitting in the garage. I was low on funds and had to have a vehicle my son who is three could ride in. So I drove my 99 discovery series II and the seven sat. I decided to make a custom intake after reading many different ideas out there. I cut a hole 2" in diameter in the bottom of the stock air box, ran black pvc pipe with rubber plumming hoses for the bends, ran the hose through the hole in the frame on the left side near the washer tank, and through the bumper where the second oil cooler is. Since I don't have one I cut a hole in the plastic cover and glued the pipe to the cover for a flush fit. It is raining right now so I will have to wait to take it for a test drive tomorrow to see if the work paid off. I will post my findings and maybe right a more detailed instruction on my mod.

Glad to here that you got your 7 back on the road. I think that its time for the discovery to take its turn sitting for a while.

I can only imagine the heart ache I would feel from having such a beautiful machine sit for two years. Props for not giving up on her
